I think Michael Dell is late in realizing the fact that importing assembled units into India will not be the best option for him, if his aim is to capture the market. As large as the market maybe, Indian market is still very price sensitive due to the fact that a large portion of that market is comprised of middle class families. It would be interesting to see the pricing difference on the new computers coming out of the Indian assembly plant.
